Finsler Geometry, Relativity and Gauge Theories formatIsbn:Softcover 9789401088534 I have benefited greatly from 9781402047152 I have benefited greatly from him on both these grounds leading to some important contributions such as the elucidation of the three dimensional structure of what appears to be the major protein constituent of the bacterial nucleoid or the development of methods to titrate the extent of DNA supercoiling within the bacterial cell The methods of differential geometry have been so completely merged nowadays with physical concepts that general relativity may well be considered to be a physical theory of the geometrical properties of space time This notwithstanding
